IPDO leadership wholeheartedly applauds its dedicated team for their outstanding efforts in implementing the Soap Making workshop. Their commitment not only provided valuable skills to 15 internally displaced women in Madani, Algazeera State, but also included essential marketing sessions. These sessions were pivotal in linking the women with local markets, enabling them to effectively sell their products. This initiative not only enhanced hygiene and sanitation within their communities but also empowered the women economically, allowing them to support their families.
The leadership recognizes the hard work and perseverance of the team, which was instrumental in the success of this project. By creating opportunities for these women to generate income and achieve self-reliance, the team has significantly contributed to IPDO’s mission of empowering women and fostering community resilience. This initiative is a testament to the team’s dedication to making a meaningful impact, even amid challenging circumstances.

The situation in Algazeera was complex, with the team facing numerous challenges, including obtaining training materials from local markets and finding a suitable location that respected women’s privacy and dignity. Despite these obstacles, the team successfully conducted an excellent training session. Unfortunately, due to the war’s expansion into Algazeera, IPDO have been unable to follow up on the impact of this training.
